Youth - masks are perfect for youth. The mask when flat is 5.5" (width) x 3.5" (height)
Adults Small - Size 1 masks are perfect for women or teens/adults with smaller facial features. The mask when flat is 6 inches wide by 4 inches high. 
Adult Large - Size 2 masks are perfect for teens or adults with bigger facial features. The mask when flat is 8 inches wide by 5.25 inches high.
 
Personally, I wear a Size 1. Background is small triangles or polka dots if background is shown as all white.
